Long before Billabong made the ‘hot’ list and Ross Rebagliati won snowboarding’s first Olympic gold, Matt lived and breathed snowboarding and skateboarding. He even cut and pasted together his own ‘zine, dedicated to his two favourite sports, and hand-delivered photocopies to every skate store within a 10-kilometre radius. And all this was before he left high school. It was this passion for action sports that would eventually earn Matt his 10 years of experience as editor of Snowboard Canada magazine and lead him to Push.ca. Matt’s about as connected as it gets when it comes to the industry—no wonder he’s a wizard at attracting skaters and snowboarders to the channel.
